ROAD SPORTS

Boards and gear for asphalt: longboards, surfskates, skateboards and cruisers, mountainboards, stunt scooters, kids' bikes and balance bikes, helmets, pads and spare parts such as wheels, trucks and bearings. Brands include Arbor, Carver, Penny, Aztron, Pro-Tec, Blood Orange, Blazer Pro and Rascal. Boards can also be rented.

How to choose: a longboard or cruiser is the easy start for getting around, a surfskate gives a surf-like carving feel, a skateboard is for tricks. Pick the length by your height and use, and add a helmet and pads in the right size, especially for kids.
